This app is simple and works very efficiently. It is my weather app.
This is the most accurate of the apps, dead simple, easy to understand interface. It does what it is supposed to do, easily and loads quickly.
Best app with all the info
By far this the best and most accurate weather app available
This is my go to weather app. Fast, and everything I need. Not full of useless crap. Love it!
Not a lot of whistles & bells here, but an easy to grok snapshot of the day, & several more, going forward. Best Ive found!
I was looking for a similar app to the default weather app on my iPod Touch. This is better and allows for multiple locations and switching is among them is easy.
Where ever I am, I can get weather warnings and and updates. We travel all the time between homes and I put in favorites, all major places we travel through. Great app.
V3.0.0 will not start. Not a good way to launch a new version guys.
I purchased this app because it claimed to have the weather for cities in Canada- well I wasted my money since there is no info on Winnepeg. Whats up with that?
Great
But WTH is sunset at 16:20???? I am AMERICAN and dont have time to unscramble that, want human time NOW!
Just like it says, the weather without lots of other junk. It uses NOAA & EC forecasts, so good, accurate readings...esp EC. The EC forecasts are based on the locations listed by the EC--just like the EC web site. Time is based on the 24-hour clock, so if that confuses you, ask your mother to find you another app. It does, however, let you switch between celsius and Fahrenheit readings, which calculations do require an even higher level of arithmetic acumen than 24-hour clocks.
Looked at a number of weather apps and they did not say where their data was coming from. This was highest rated app that clearly states it uses NOAA/Environment Canada weather reports. Reviewers on most weather apps think that their iPad magically determines the weather: they dont. They get their data from somewhere and if they wont tell you the source of the data, their app is worth nothing. These guys tell you the source of the data and they update it as rapidly as the source data changes. Only one minor annoyance that I have found - to select a city from your list you have to go to a clunky menu in upper left of screen. It would be much nicer to have a horizontal gesture flip from location to location . The application uses the 24 hour format clock to ensure there is no confusion between AM and PM. This is the standard time format used by ... oh, say ... 90% of the worlds population. So as a dual US and Canadian citizen I urge my fellow Americans to travel abroad, experience new cultures and learn how to tell the time to join the majority of humans on the planet. Developers located in Calgary Alberta Canada should you need tech support. Great App.
Nothing else comes close, and Ive tried just about everything, paid and free. Gets data from NOAA, shows plain English summary of day, highs, lows, percent chance of rain... Its maybe the ugliest of the iOS weather apps, but nothing beats it for practicality.
Im downgrading my rating. This weather app still doesnt use location services. When combined with the small fonts and all too frequent "Data not observed" message, there are other weather apps that are easier to read and more reliable.
An excellent easy-to-use weather app. It has just what you need and not too much more. I really appreciate the availability of the hazardous weather outlook information and discussion from NWS. I highly rate this product. An additional nice feature could be that hyper local forecast function whereby it can tell you if it rain is coming in the next X minutes.
If you need a weather app, this is the one to get.
Dull and boring. Maps could be better. Not worth the cost.
